Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Religious television programs have the potential to influence the moral and ethical behavior of individuals in society. In Fufore Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State, religious television channels are widely viewed, and their impact on ethical behavior is significant. This study examines the effectiveness of religious television in promoting ethical behavior among the people of Fufore LGA, focusing on how religious teachings broadcasted on TV can influence moral values and ethical conduct.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
Despite the widespread availability of religious television channels, there is limited research on their effectiveness in promoting ethical behavior, particularly in rural areas like Fufore LGA.
